Ningbo Plant Achieves Key Environmental Certifications
The Ningbo Plant is proud to announce two key environmental achievements, further demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices. The plant has been officially verified for its ISO 14064-1 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory and has earned the prestigious Three-Star Green Factory Rating, recognized by Beilun District, Ningbo City.
ISO 14064-1 GHG Inventory Verification
In alignment with global sustainability efforts, the Ningbo Plant has successfully completed the ISO 14064-1 GHG inventory verification process. This certification confirms the plant's comprehensive tracking and management of greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening its environmental responsibility. By reaching this milestone, the Ningbo Plant reaffirms its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and taking effective action on climate change. In 2023, our annual greenhouse gas emissions were calculated, with direct emissions amounting to 20.7213 tons CO2e and indirect greenhouse gas emissions totaling 4,638.3505 tons CO2e, resulting in a total emission of 4,659.0718 tons CO2e.
Three-Star Green Factory Rating
Additionally, the Ningbo Plant has earned the Three-Star Green Factory Rating from Beilun District, recognizing its commitment to eco-friendly manufacturing practices. This rating, part of a local government initiative to foster sustainable industrial development, is awarded to facilities that meet rigorous standards in environmental management, energy efficiency, and resource optimization. The plant's achievement highlights its leadership in environmental sustainability within the region.
These two certifications are a testament to the Ningbo Plant's continued commitment to integrating sustainable practices into its operations. They also underscore the plant’s contribution to China's broader goals of carbon neutrality and green development.
